It would be difficult. Clinging to dogma of any sort creates a barrier to spiritual growth that is very difficult to overcome.

Anyone can be saved. God wants all to come to Him and be saved. But man is a stubborn specimen. The Bible clearly states in Acts 2:38 that in order to be saved you must
1) Repent of your sins
2) Be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ
3) In doing so you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (which is proven by the speaking in other tongues)
God Bless!

Yes. One can have the appearance of being religious without being saved. As one other person said, a person is saved when they have a personal relationship with God through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Yes but the time of being saved is only at the end of our lives. Matt. 24:13, "He that endures to the end will be saved."

We get salvation from the undeserved kindness of God, not by anything we do. If though, you have real faith, you will do works. Jas. 2: 14, 26, "What does it profit, my bretheren, if a mansays he has faith but has not works? Can his faith save him? For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead." We have faith that moves us to obey the commands of God and Jesus. Obeying is our works.

Can I have a good marriage if I truly love my wife, but never do anything with her? Religion provides the framework within which we live out our faith. Faith is what we believe. Religion is what we do as a result of what we believe. How else can faith grow?

"Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world." (James 1:27)

Yes. They just can't continue to be "religious" if they want to receive the peace that Jesus offers. They have to learn how to have a RELATIONSHIP with God.

Sadly, too few 'religious' people actually worry about salvation.

Can you please clarify the question? Are you suggesting that being religious normally prevents someone from being "saved"? Please provide more details if you wan't people to be able to answer your question.
