Keep in mind...

All a christian has to do is truely believe that jesus was the son of god and its a "picnic in the clouds" for you with all your old friends and jesus, FOR ETERNITY!!! Sounds pretty rock & roll to me. (and please don't say that isn't all you have to do)

On the other hand...

An atheist believes that the truth is more important than promises of an eternal life. So important that we are putting ourselves at great peril if we are wrong. We don't have a god to lean on or ask for forgiveness. We make our own heaven or hell right here on earth. We fully admit that life would be easier, maybe even better, if we believed. But we don't.

OK. Who do you think is more brave? (be honest, god may be watching)...ps. i know im picking on christians. deal with it.

A christian has to constantly suppress their doubts about their belief, and do this while standing up to hard-to-refute rational attack. I think it takes a special kind of bravery to do this.

I don't know. We'll have to wait for a burning building and see who goes back inside to save people, the Christian, the Atheist or Both.

Now THAT's BEING BRAVE.

Remember, the Christian is expecting eternal life. They have less to lose. They aren't, how you say, "reality based."

Jesus says carry the pack 10 miles when asked to only do it 5 miles.

Religious have a saying, I fear not the valley of the shadow of death because the Lord is with me.

But from a bravery standpoint, the trust test is who, if either, will go back inside to pull people out.

I savour your attitude and if a female has a wholesome delivery and desires to labor at living house that's advantageous. you may comprehend that some women human beings produce different themes. i prefer discomfort drugs. ideally in one in each and every of those an epidural! Then I lost information. My physique went into marvel... I could desire to assert the mess isn't the only reason i would not supply delivery at living house although that's suitable up there. i did no longer prefer to consume or swap positions... i'm pregnant with my 2nd daughter. For ME there is not any different decision. scientific institution in uncomplicated terms. i'm so satisfied women human beings have the alternative yet they actually could desire to weigh all aspects... in addition they could desire to confirm their desires are met in the scientific institution! they're the affected person! Edit: Blueblue... I agree. I advise the March of Dimes. that's as a results of fact of their study that I relatively have a pleasing 3 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous daughter and that i'm 30 weeks pregnant immediately. without preterm labor...

The Christian is more courageous, because they enter into unknown areas preaching a gospel that has gotten others killed.

The Atheist is more stupid, because they risk the wrath of God by refusing to acknowledge that God exists. If you thought life would be easier and better, you have to be stupid to rebel against it.

Most of us Christians would have bolted from the faith if we had found that Christianity only created more pain in our lives, but we have found it to be the opposite. We have found it to provide us with large doses of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

I think Christians cause most are blatant Idolaters. You wear what you perceive as god around your neck (graven images). You created an image of the devil. What is wrong with you all, to be Christian is to go to hell.

An atheist going against the common train of thought in an area (i.e., majority are Christians in the US) is the brave one.

I'm biased but I regard many Christians as being morally degenerate and inadequate human beings. Bravery isn't something I associate with Christians.

If you cared about truth, you would be on your knees. Truth is, when you curse God, you invite His wrath.
