Is it "necessary"? That will depend strictly on your goals and priorities. Many of the answers below list pro's and con's of having sex with others than your wife. Most of them are very true… if your wife would not be comfortable with it, you will virtually destroy the relationship you already have; having sex with others will likely be pretty exiting - the first couple of times; a good, trusting relationship is hard to come by these days; and so on. If you are more interested in some short term excitement, then 'only with the wife' is not necessary. If you’re more interested in maintaining a solid relationship with your wife, then ‘only with the wife’ is absolutely necessary.
Something that society has forgotten is that marriage is what it is because of the special bond that a husband and wife can share. That bond necessitates ‘only with the wife’. Marriage has become more of a state registered agreement between two people. But so many good things can come from maintaining the kind of relationship marriage was originally established to be. I would certainly recommend sex with only your wife. But to answer the question of ‘necessity’ – that would depend on your goals.

If you are married and not an idiot, then yes. It is necessary to only have sex with your wife. When you cheat, you risk everything. You risk getting a disease. You risk giving that disease to your wife. If she gets pregnant soon after, you risk giving a disease to your child. Even if none of that happens, you risk divorce. You risk losing half of your stuff due to the divorce. You risk getting someone else pregnant and having to pay child support, and thus being unable to take care of your family. You risk so much than only an idiot would do it. That about sums it up.

Not only necessary but important. Why do you want to have sex with other women. Is there any problem with your wife or if she do not want to have sex with you? You can make another arrangement to satisfay your fillings, other wise don't do that kind of trash thing. Or let her to have sex with another man too.

Gee, let's think about this together, shall we? Let's see, is it necessary for your wife to only have sex with you, or can she have other lovers on the side?

It is sure is unless you have some other arrangement worked out with your wife. Don't do it. Give your marriage a little more nurturing.

I think its bets that you let your wife find another man, because you must not love her the way she deserves to be loved. If you loved her right you wouldnt ask that question. The only way it would be ok is if she wanted another woman in the situation,. and i doubt that is going on... Grow up, honor your vows and DONT cheat!!!!!

That all depends on your relationship...if you and your wife have chosen not to be monogamous, then it wouldn't be necessary to have sex only with her...
That means she gets her piece on the side as well.
