fluffy disorders. Conduct disorder and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. There main importance as diagnoses are to stop minors from becoming full blown anti social disorder psychopaths. Severe conduct disorder and ODD may mean the family of the kid cannot take care of him or her anymore because it is not safe. This is in only a small percent of cases. Yes. I know a 22 year old young lady who was diagnosed with conduct disorder at 15. She managed to get through high school with only minor brushes with the law and although she still has some "strange" (to me) ideas of how things SHOULD be, she holds a job, mothers her son, and is a functioning member of society.

Yes. They are very defiant and in trouble with the law. Although not all conduct disorders become antisocial personality disorders, all anti-social people were once conduct disorder. I
