Al Gore is not the sole supporter behind the idea of global warming. Tagging one scapegoat to a situation does not make a difference. There are years and years of credible sources that tell us what is happening to the Earth. Yes, we must take into account that science is a study, but that does not mean it should be looked down upon. I suggest you look into the causes of global warming and come up with other ideas of how this could have happened. As an added bonus, you can type that up and send it to Exxon and make a clean $10,000!
I am sure there are exaggerations on both sides of the fence. We can't point fingers all day or expect to get all of the facts from horrible local news or one movie. I'm sure you remember hearing how scientists were killed because they didn't believe the earth was flat. It's amazing to see how history just repeats itself. You have to take the initiative to look into it yourself. Otherwise- you're just as guilty as the potential scape goat.
Ignorance does not imply a free ride.

CO2 has no discernable affect on global mean temperature. The Earth is not warming. The media, multinational corporations, politicians, and researchers see that CO2 has increased since the late 1880 and assume that a continuing increase WILL raise the global temperature. This is based solely on computer model forecasts, not on any observed warming.
All these catastrophic scenario's and propaganda from the media and the movie-makers are only scare tactics to prod people into being more environmentally friendly, plain and simple. These people are hypocrites! They live in their environmentally unfriendly homes and drive their environmentally unfriendly gas-guzzling SUV's. If these people have investments, it's almost certain they're invested in companies that are environmentally unfriendly., we should be carefull but these scare tactics just to get votes an do nothing is completely hypocritacal .One hypocrite is Sheryl Crow. She has the audacity to lecture about the "dangers" of human-induced "global warming" as she, her crew, and equipment, travel in 3 tractor trailers, 4 buses, and 6 cars. The parking requirements for her entourage are listed at thesmokinggun.com . we should change, ,,, people, take a chill pill

Think of it frmo "the straw that broke the camel's back" perspective. Where does the blame normally sit, with all of the other earlier sticks that have already been piled on top of the camel (normal planetary warming, etc), which the camel is able to handle.
Or on the final last few sticks (man's own contribution to the global warming scenario) which finally push the camel over it's ability to manage and it collapses past the point of being able to heal itself?
Using all of mans own instincts, we naturally (and correctly) place the blame of the last few sticks. This is what we need to work on as it is the ONLY part that we can actually have an effect on. We would be nothing better than Neglectful stewards if we don't do our best to keep our "camel" able to work for us.

Why do we always like to shoot the messenger?
If you were given something to tell another-you being the middle person, would you want to be blamed for the message?
So sit back and do nothing, believe that global warming isn't real, and enjoy your life as it is now wherever you are. Don't worry about your or your childrens future, let alone anyone elses.
BUT DON"T TRY TO CUT IN LINE, WHEN THE SH-- HITS THE FAN, FOR HELP. There will be plenty ahead of you who took the warning to heart and deserve to be in that line.
You're either part of the problem or part of the solution-you choose.

In case you haven't been following the news (other than the FOX NOISE CHANNEL... which isn't news) over 98 PERCENT of the world's scientists who have been studying global warming for over 20 years now... are concerned that GLOBAL WARMING is not only REAL but it is accelerating more rapidly.
Al Gore is in absolutely NO DANGER of having to admit he was wrong.
The only people who don't seem to understand that Global Warming is real have NEVER STUDIED SCIENCE... They are so ready to state that Global Warming is not real BUT THEY NEVER STATE STATISTICS TO PROVE THEIR BELIEF.
All I have to do to PROVE Global Warming is to point you to the massive Ice Islands that are forming off the North Pole and Antarctica when the icebergs break off the ice shelves... or to point you to the time lapse satellite photos that clearly show how the polar ice is receding... Then there is the fact that both the Humboldt Current and the Gulf Stream are warming and becoming less salty. Then there is dying off of the Coral Reefs WORLD WIDE because the water temperature is too high for them to sustain life.
There are so MANY proofs that Global Warming is REAL... I don't know why people can't take the time to LEARN A FEW THINGS about Global Warming before they, arrogantly pronounce that it is a scam.

He would never admit he was wrong because to do that would mean that he could never capitalize on people's fears again. No one would buy his next book or see his next movie.
Personally, I think he'll come up with something else like electricity created through solar panels causes tumors or maybe he'll go back a few years and cry wolf about the next ice age. We'll see him do it again - no doubt about it.

He might, with enough proof. Will he ever have to? Doubt it.
What's known is CO2 is a greenhouse gas
Dogs, cats and mouse don't have anything to do much with the increase emission of CO2 since the mid 1800s
