Bad things happen = Free Will
Good things happen = Work of God
Isn't blind faith fantastic?

God is not mad at little Maddy. There are evil people in this world who will do anything to anyone. They really don't care about anything good or obeying God. They are deceived by Satan who is out to deceive even the elect if they can. The motto of this world is "If it feels good, then do it."They live by the lust of the flesh. They just want to satisfy their own weird lust, but we know this is wrong and not God's way. The devil puts those lust in our hearts. Because they've been living by the lust of their flesh, they justify their deeds. God said, "If a person hurts even the least of these children, it would be better for someone to have a milestone around his neck and cast into the sea." God will get revenge on those who do wrong. Just don't be one who does those things.

What did Maddy do to the person who kidnapped her? Who on this earth is exempt from bad things happening to them? Just the good people? No.
God didn't have her kidnapped. That's like saying her parents had her kidnapped. The only difference is, God knew ahead of time that it would happen. That's what we struggle with. His foreknowledge of events. And we often blame Him for knowing. We shouldn't, when we often fail to blame the kidnapper themselves for snatching an innocent child for whatever sick reasons they have. How do we as a society, justify allowing people to develop into monsters like this, as we sit idly by? Then we want to blame God for the result. What arrogance!

I guess I never will understand the mind set that if something bad happens to you, God must be mad at you. She didn't do anything, and God didn't "have her kidnapped." God will NOT interfere with free will, and people can be evil. The people that kidnapped her choose to do the wrong thing.

God didnt cause Maddy to be kidnapped. People kidnapped her, out of their own personal, selfish desires. One of the gifts that God gave us as humans is free will. We are completely free to do as we choose however when we sin, we must bear not only the punishment of death, but also the immediate consequences of our actions. Maddy's kidnappers choose to kidnap her out of their own free will. God did nothing to cause them to take her.

Don't act like you care--you don't have it in you. You actually demean this girl's family by using this question for your own selfishness--to lash out at God. Over the internet... really? Are you serious?
