she got and will get before her time runs
out on the question.....and how does she
get 23 days for a question to run?????

and guess who gets to PAY the electric
bill....It's not the tooth fairy.......

I DON'T THINK SO.....

i wonder if they are actually going to print out all the answers on paper....or read them on the screen,....?????

And they wonder why voters are truly turned off and cynical....we know that they cater to their special interests and powerful lobbies, hollywood, etc...and then they have the nerve to say ANY- THING to us about low voter turn-out and apathy....and they just keep jerking us around every two years....pretending
that they care...

Can't imagine anyone will read all the answers. Some member of staff will probably flick through and read a few at random. It would take days to read the whole lot.

It would be good if a lot of the answers were read and some notice was taken of what people are saying. That said, I don't think Yahoo Answers is a particularly accurate reflection of the opinions of the country as a whole but it should give an indication.

Mind you, if that happened it would be something of a first, a politician actually taking notice of what the people are saying.

Well, considering that her staffs computers likely run whether they are currently being used or not, it is unlikely that her staff will use all that much more energy. There'll be some bandwidth usage and possibly some more loading on Yahoo's networks, maybe some people will stay on their computers writing what they think the best answers are, or maybe they would have just gone somewhere else to some other webpage to read and talk about whatever else interested them if it weren't for this opportunity.

The net effect of this PR stunt will probably be zero. Some people will feel more important for having said their piece, but her staff, knowing her views on things, will pull the pieces that match up with her views and present those to her. What will be changed, electrically or politically, just a couple 1's and 0's, just a couple ticks on a tally.

You don't think anyone is actually going to read all those do you? Her question is a political maneuver to make people think she really cares about what any of us think.

I'd do it if they paid well - what the heck, good money, sitting in front of the computer reading yup, yup I'd surely do it. Everyone has a price. :-))
