Less that a grand? I'd say forget it unless you plan on cobbling some j-yard parts together. Turbo/Supercharger kits are usually quite expensive. But you can go to these sites and do some research.

If you can weld u can do it for a lil over a grand. but you wont find a supercharger or a turbo for under a grand. if u really want a turbo id check out www.tmaturbo.com he has built some of the best custom turbos for 94-04 mustangs he might be wrking on a kit for the 05's. I just started my own turbo project and i just need to be tuned after its finished being fabbed up and my total is just a tad over 1500

You shouldn't put a turbo, you should put a supercharger instead. There are alot of reasons but here's a few, turbo chargers are more expensive than superchargers, turbochargers are very high maintanence, turbo's have to spool up and are made for car with higher rpms, superchargers are design for instant power. The good thing about turbo's are that if it breaks you can repair or replace the different parts in it, superchargers you can't do that.

What about your warranty?? You don't say what engine you have. Many non turbo designed today can't take the stress of a turbo. The bottom 1/2 of the motor is not strong enough and forcing those pistons down any harder you might find one come out the other side.

For a grand you won't get any forced induction setup for that car. For a grand you CAN get a CAI, a tuner with some custom tunes and rear gears. You might have enough left to get the gears installed.
