God creates only good things, so where did sickness come from? I don't think that there was any disease in the Garden of Eden. Maybe it was some sort of Pandora's Box?

There is evidence that cancer and heart disease are primarily caused by stress.

STD's, in the majority, can be traced back to having sex with animals.

Most food poisoning could be avoided by following Biblical food usage, storage and consumption practices.

In my opinion disease was created by God and is spread through sin, but, not necessarily to a sinner.

After all, it is not what happens to you that matters it is how you choose to think and act that is important.

PS:

Don't you love hate mail from people who cannot read?

".....BUT, NOT NECESSARILY TO A SINNER."

For example, a baby can inherit AIDS from their mother, who may or may not have contracted AIDS by committing a sin. The mother could have gotten AIDS from the Husband who received AIDS from a transfusion during surgery. A sin is what started the transmission of the disease and in the case of AIDS that is well documented.

Is this why people are so ignorant, they are illiterate and cannot actually read?

No, but disease occurs in different forms including bacteria, fungal, viral, and parasitic. The most common ones, viruses, actually predate humans. These are not the only things that cause disease either, but they are certainly not caused by a mythological creature.

For the sake of argument let's postulate that the Bible is true for a moment.

The notion that this God didn't create disease came long before humanity had knowledge that it was not demons or evil spirits that caused illness. Christians are loath to admit that life can come into being without a God but now they readily admit that germs just showed up apparently without their god's creation but all on their own. The fact remains that if the Bible is true, God would had to have known what was going to happen even before he began and didn't bother to try and head it off if it displeased him. He set up the rules of the universe and therefore is responsible for any outcomes. God's supposed omniscience and omnipotence is a bugger for Christians when trying to excuse their 'all loving god' from ever having done anything that even remotely appears in discord with their delusions.

This topic alone is enough for most thinking people to come to the logical conclusion that either god created everything just as it is from the rules he created and acceptance of what was to be and not stopping it, or god doesn't exist and what science has been saying is true all along. The world is natural and no gods are necessary to explain anything ever.

If God does indeed exist then it is a myth that he only creates "good" things. The universe is so full of what religious people call "wickedness" that God must have wanted it to exist. Perhaps it is all because of some divine purpose we cannot understand. Or perhaps "God" is just something primitive people came up with because they couldn't explain all the fked up sht in the world.

You might conclude that considering that even the dinosaurs died from things like cancer and tuberculous.
So do the animals today.
But mankind was unique in Gods Creation, we were given the desire to live forever and to worship our creator.
Since this is the case, we know it was not in Jehovah's original plan for mankind to contract disease.
But now that we are imperfect because of the sin of Adam, we do not have that form of divine protection, thus we grow old, get sick and die.

Unhealthy living condition is the cause of disease. There is pollution in the modern set up. This cannot be avoided but we can control disease by proper exercise and food habit. Do not live on ancient scriptures.

Everything when excercised under the norms and laws are successful and satisfying.
Disease is an offshoot of breaking the physical laws governing us.

God created ALL.

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

God has authority over ALL.

2Ch 21:18 And after all this the LORD smote him in his bowels with an incurable disease.

Gen 20:17 So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare [children].

Mat 9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
Mat 10:1 And when he had called unto [him] his twelve disciples, he gave them power [against] unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

religions are false especially cristian
- i am sorry and i dont mean to offend

the bible was created by a bunch of religious types back in the roman emperor constantines day, they decided what must be kept in and what must be kept out - testaments lie in the vatacan safes which are likely to never see the light of day

would you know the full alphabet if 12 or 15 of the 26 letters were missing? no you wouldnt

who wrote the testaments about genesis and exodus and the garden of eden? there were only 3 beings there capable. the humans, the monkeys or god. no one wrote of the garden of eden until thousands of years later - chinese whispers across the ages?

the testaments we know come from around jesus's days and later - where is the testament of jesus? what about mary's? etc??

without th full deck of cards you cant play the game fairly.

we have to learn that religions conflict each other and that if there was a god he is long since gone. - trying to make sense of it ll will be impossible.

when you prove gods existence i will show you the true version why we are here on earth.

ps sorry to those offended - need to lecture or discuss please do to the email address below

While the organisms that cause disease may have been in Eden serving some unknown purpose, disease and its detrimental effects are the effects of sin, which God did not create.

Right ! This is just so unbelieveable, that people would respond as they have. So God allows little children to die from Cerebral Palsy, Cancer, Heart Disease, and so on because they were inherently evil?

This "God of Love" sees a country in drought, and lets it rain over the sea (so the fishies can have a bit more water?).

Un-bloody-believeable! What a mob of mental retards some of you guys are !
