An Army E7 reaches HYT at 26 years, same as AF. The only way to hit 30 is to make E9.
There are several different ways of calculating retirement pay based on date of enlistment.
Final Pay - only for those who enlisted prior to 1980
High 3 - Sept 8, 1980 - Aug 1, 1986, or those who opted out of REDUX - avg. pay of last 3 years of service
CSB/REDUX - Aug 1, 1986 to present, unless opted out.

Below is a link with all this and more, including a retirement calculator.

Your question is not clear. Are you asking what pay they can expect after being in for 30 years or are you asking something different. Please be more specific and add details.

The monthly pay you receive will depend on the date you first entered military service. We need more information from you.

This may help also.
