Everything I've heard about Heaven sounds boring.

Heaven is for spirits and angels, Earth is for humans.

What you have heard about heaven (clouds, cupids, and the like) is most likely dogma or stereotypes.
In the book of Revelation, the Bible claims that heaven is incredibly frightening and beautiful.
Some philosophers and writers, such as C.S. Lewis, believe that heaven will be the same as earth, though restored to the state of perfection is had before the fall of man.

I think heaven is everything you imagine it to be. If you want your heaven to be a beautiful beach front then it will be just that. Who the hell said it was boring and how do they know? How can it be? Nobody really knows untill you get there ....IF you get there!
I believe we get what we percieve Heaven to be. I also believe we get jobs to do.... not for $$$, but for helping other souls. Or to cleanse our own. And I also believe we get the choice to be reborn.
So if your perception of Heaven is an everlasting party on a beach..thats what your Heaven will be......How boring is that?

Heaven is the absence of all evil, fear, sorrow, sadness...we on Earth can't comprehend it because we live in a world that contains these things. It is total lack of any want, complete satisfaction-in short, total perfection.
(It's also a whole lot better than hell)

Jesus says that it is like a Marriage Feast----but have you heard about what the Marriage Feasts were like in Biblical Isreal? Week long events with lots of drinking and fun!!

It's kind of like the lot outside of a Grateful Dead concert. People "looking for a miracle", selling grill cheeses and burritos, and playing their guitars outside of their vans with a scraggly dog nearby.

Heaven is a feeling deep, very deep inside. It is complete satisfaction of inner desires and you feel there is nothing to achieve or know.
