The "spectrum" of "Autism Spectrum Disorder" is a very VERY broad spectrum. Many suspect Bill Gates has High-Functioning autism. Many of our greatest scientists are suspected of being autistic- even Einstein! And then some people with autism never learn how to talk or read & never get out of diapers. My niece is close to the bottom of the spectrum.
But many also think there are MANY genes involved in making a person likely to become autistic. So if 6 genes are required, maybe you have 2 or 3. Not autistic, but having some of the traits. My brother had 4 kids, 2 autistic. One of the non-autistic kids has major social issues. She has absolutley no social skills whatsoever! So I think she's got a few of the genes.0

Autism can be hard to diagnose in young children, but there are some general guidelines that may help you decide whether further investigation is neccessary.
Common signs include:
- Trouble establishing and holding eye contact
- Repetitive behaviors
- Prefers to play alone and doesn't interact with other children
- Small changes in routine can cause excessive levels of anxiety or tantrums
These is just a basic overview, for a more detailed list of common signs then take a look at this site:

Autism has a subcategory called autistic spectrum disorders. Please do not worry about this. It has become a fad to use this diagnosis. EVERYBODY has quirks. I could probably put most of the people I know into some disorder if I wanted to do so. This is what our culture is doing to us. You may be quirky. You may have things you need to work on but you probably are not a little autistic.

There is a certain scale to measure autism by.
Only an autistic specialist can measure this. My nephew was recently diagnosed with autism and his score was 50 and the minimum is 30 i think.
You will get the best answer from your GP or a specialist.

Autism is a spectrum with normal people on the one end. So looking at it that way, we're all on it. And the majority of people are probably a little ways down the spectrum. It's normal to not be completely normal.

Autism begets more autism. What makes u think that u r more superior than others? If only we give our egos and live in a society that is shared by everybody, then your autism will disappear.
