Mediaset is planning to televise a BBC documentary this week about Ratzinger's role in the Catholic Church's Pedophile Priest scandal cover-up.
The Vatican is attempting to block this transmission.

Because, unlike the wonderful spiritual and thoughtful image that so many Catholic apologists, pr agents and spin doctors seek to present, the Catholic Church based on its track history over 16+ centuries is far from enlightened, or moral.

No organization that seeks to stand on the world stage and preach about values has any credibility if at the same time, it denies natural justice to those who have sufferred as a direct result of the inaction of the church.

Well I think That RAI want to air the program not Mediaset.
In Catholic Rome the church has a very important role as it does hare in Malta but it should not control public transmissions. In the 1900s it basically ruled all Catholic countries but times have change.
In the 1300s bishops and even popes had concubines but they don`t anymore.
Times change and the church has to move on in time.
