Many people are trying to find a date for the end of the world but I do not think that it is possible to do so. If you believe in the bible you would realize that end time prophecy is based on events rather than dates. So instead of trying to find a date for the end of the world, look for end time events. It really does not matter when the world will end but whether you'll be ready for it.

Personally I get a strong feeling of 2021. But it may just be because I know this is the 2nd time around for the world 1000 X 2 = 2000, and God's favorite number is 7 X 3 ( The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit ) = 21. But that is just my thoughts and only God knows for sure. Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

No. But I do believe the Mayan calendar will end in that year.

You know... the Mayans didnt have computers or millions of sheets of paper. They had a round piece of rock to carve their damn calendar on. If their calendar ends in 2012 it only means they ran out of rock. Enough space for another 365 days and all your fanatics will stress of 2013 instead. Im sure that the Mayans understood their calendar system better than we do now, and if you had asked them what happens after 2012 they would have just stared at you and said "duh".

Why is it that in our society we are giving the end of one calendar system so much credence, so much attention... while all the while we are ignoring how our Gregorian system got started - with the birth of Christ 2 millennia ago. Im not saying that you should be Christian. But if you are Christian it would be anti-Christian to focus on a "heathen" belief. And if youre atheist, why pick that one controversy of all things? People dont want religion to limit them, but they want spiritualism to give their pathetic lives meaning. Its sad, really.

About as much chance as it did in 1927, 1945, 1983, 1984, 1996, and 2000.

I'll probably end before that, so who cares?

My favorite item on this line of thought - If anyone tells you the world will end on such and so date, go to Vegas and put money that it won't. It'll pay off every time.

If i don't have proof then i would say no... if i did then i would say yes but no one has proof. Scienttistt said that the world would also end in 2000 and it didn't so i would say no.
