How to get a certified copy a driving licence?

I lost my driving licence.It was issued from vijaywada(A.P).I have my licence number with me & want to apply for a certified copy.My driving no. is 42620/VJA/98 which was issued on 27-05-98.in the name of SRI GOPAL AGARWAL.Suggest me the best way in which i could get it online.

It is not a good idea to give out your driver's license number on a site such as this. People could use it to steal your identity for illegal use.
