Lucifer (Satan) used to be an angel.
Angels have free wills, but were made to be messengers of God.
Lucifer rebelled (because he thought he could be bigger than God) & convinced some other angels to do the same.
Now, Lucifer tries to deceive humans & trick them into hell.

The bible says 'god' created satan perfect and beautiful. The Xians claim their god is perfect and cannot make a mistake. So this means if satan was created perfect then he cannot make an error either, so to rebel against god was not a wrong thing to do.
Argue against that logic!

The Bible describes Satan as beautiful clothed with jewels. He became focused on his own vanity. Maybe that is why the Bible describes Christ as homely
