I was slightly disappointed by the episode, but you can't have "twists" every time, I guess!

We don't know who Molly's person was--I think this was one of the most interesting parts about the final episode.
According to Eonline! Matt will be in next season, but D.L's fate is up in the air.
Supposedly, the script called for Nathan to fly up into the air with Peter and drop him over the ocean before he exploded. If this is true, it's possible that both the Petrelli brothers would be back next year.
Hiro is supposed to remain in medieval Japan for awhile next year.
Here's hoping the show has a great second season and avoids the "sophomore slump".

The original plan of Heroes was to introduce a new cast each season, but because the current cast was so well-recieved, they're keeping on a few of the characters while also bringing in new ones (Molly) and killing old ones (Lindherman, Ted, Issac, Simone). Personally, I think the show will lose fans if they get rid of the Petrelli brothers. We know Nathan will eventually die, because in the future episode, we learn that Sylar killed him and became president without America knowing. If anything, Peter should stay on. Despite him being Claire's biological uncle, I seem to feel that he and Claire should become something more than friends. I think the reason that he couldn't fly himself up/away was because he can either only use one power at a time or was just not capable of controlling the radiation and so could not think to take himself away. Heroes also tends to make contradictions. For example, if Claire is invincible, why was it so important for the Grandmother (blech. hope she gets it in the 2nd season) to take her away from New York? And if Sylar and Peter can both absorb powers, then why is it necessary for Sylar to kill someone whilst Peter need only meet the person? And the 'man worse than Sylar'? I'm a little frightened, and it's just from watching that little part! I think the final episode was a terrific way to end the season. It left a lot of open doors that I'm sure will be cleared! I AM PUMPED FOR SEPTEMBER 2007!!!

I hope that it will be just as explosive and interesting as this season was . I throughly enjoyed this season and it had some interesting plot twists and turns . I hope the patrelli brothers are okay and I am glad that linderman is dead . i wish they had killed sylar and brought in a new villian . Now hiro knows he can plunge that sword into sylar and not be so scared of killing him . I knew sylar would not be able to defeat all of them together . I am glad they all showed up . I hope parkman is okay . I would like to see him come back next season as well as dl they all have something to add to this show .

It made me sad to think that Peter and Nathan are dead. I liked Hiro in the ancient times with his "hero" Kensai, and thought it added some much needed comedic touches. I hope that Sylar is dead, I think a new villian is needed, like who was Molly talking about that can "see" her when she thinks about him?

What I did not understand is why Peter just did not fly on his own, he has flown before, so why did he need Nathan to take him? And Claire shooting Peter would have saved Nathan's life too, so why not shooot him ...
