1- I do not have any generalized view on the community and I look at them as people just like myself before anything else. Beyond that, I look at them as followers of Jesus Christ, someone I respect and in that respect I think they are my brethren in faith. There are many differences between their faith and mine but the similarities are overwhelming. I find their religion to be intriguing and I think they are people before being Christians.

2- God to me is the Creator of everything, the Omnipotent who oversees everything in the world and there is not a granule of sand on the earth but he is aware of its presence.

3- If this refers to my opinion of God, I am afraid 13 years of studying Quran, Bible and Jewish folklore has not changed my opinions but only solidified them. I doubt they will change.

4- My father, when I asked him what exactly Christianity was; I was VERY young at the time and was curious about religions.

5- I would not generalize; as I said, they are human beings and like me, follow a belief so what I throw at them, comes directly back at me.
They are my brethren in faith in One God.
Cheers & peace.

1. I is one. Christians are close-minded. I can afford to be because I AM RIGHT.
2. I used to be on the 'other side of the fence', (not a believer), and was commited to the concept of evolution.
NOTHING can make me change what I believe. Every new discovery about the Earth or the cosmos proves two things to me:
a. God is truly amazing
b. The 'scientific' crowd is dead-set on destroying the idea of God with their own religion. They declare something as the 'gospel truth' and twenty years later, their pathetic idea is brutally smashed. I dont think God enjoys making fools of them, but I wonder if he gets a laugh sometimes. I know I roll on the floor lol. There are some scientists who, like me, are amazed at the wonders of God's creation with each new discovery.
3. I was raised in the Christian belief by my grandmother, and had Christianity 'rammed' down my throat, but I really didnt believe it until much later in my life. I truly understand now.
4. The main problem with Christians is that we are still HUMAN after we are converted. The problem isnt Christians, it is the NON-BELIEVER constantly 'sharpshooting' us, and not even ATTEMPTING to read our instruction book, the Bible. Example: I dont agree with the Catholic faith, but I really HATE priest-bashing. There have been accounts of priests abusing children. This is rotten to the core. HOWEVER, for every child sexually abused by a priest, there are over 1000 children sexually abused by their TEACHER. Why not go protesting in front of the schools, and demand that they be put in prison? Sometimes I think the hypocrites are the ones who constantly bash Christianity, and protest our 'hypocracy', but look the other way when the high-priests of the secular world do the same thing.
Yes, the church is full of hypocrites, and that is exactly where they should be. The church is a hospital for sinners, not a hotel for saints.

1. My general opinion of Christians is good. I think the premise Christianity is based on, Jesus as the Messiah who died so we would live (in Heaven), is a fine religion but I also appreciate the beliefs and practices of other religions as well.
2. I believe that God is not full of wrath. I believe God/Jesus would not throw non-believers into Hell. 3. Why would you want to change it?
4. Actually, I think it was my grandfather who first told me about Christianity. I don;t recall how he told me. But I can tell you he also sexually molested me as a child.
5. The number one turn off when it comes to Christians is the evangelicals who preach their way is the only way and they insist you believe their way or you're a goner. I think many of them believe what they do because, if they don't, they think they're Hell bound too. It's an interesting faction of Christianity, having fear guide your faith.

1. Being one myself, I view Christians as a group of people that want to help others, live a violent-free life, good for society. They want to stand for what's right and against what's wrong, assumming people still believe in right & wrong. For the most part they (we) are good hearted ppl that want to see everybody get to go to Heaven!
2. That He is the Creator of all. It makes the most since. We had to get here somehow!!! It sure beats the Big Bang Theory, which still leaves the question: then who made whatever it was that suppossedly collided together to make the big bang in the first place. And it sure beats Evolution, which leaves many unanswered questions: then who made the monkey? How did the world get here for soemthing to evolve from it? Who created the amoeba? Creation is the only choice than answers every question. Even as a bet, its the "safest" one. If Im wrong and there is no God, then the worst thing for me is that I lived a decent life, died, and gone into peaceful non-exisitence. If unbelievers are wrong the worst thing for them is an eternity of burning in hell. Wow! Thats one bet Im just not willing to risk!.....I Believe!!
3. Nothing could ever change my opinion for I truly believe with all my heart. If you havent experienced it, I can understand how it would be hard for you to believe. It would be just as hard for me NOT to believe because of what I have experienced.
4. My parents....thank you!!
5. I think for me it would probably be those who have a hard time showing the same love & mercy that God has shown to each of us...to believers and non believers alike. No one is drawn to a thorn bush! Everyone is drawn to kindness, forgiveness, & love.

ad 1. It is not easy to form an opinion on a group in general; as far as I know they won't harm no-one, what's more - those who are truth to the bible will readily help if asked...So, one could say that real Christian can't be a bad person...

ad2. I had been raised as a Catholic, but I lost my faith at an early age...I believe God does not exist !

ad3. It would have to be a scientific prove !

ad4. Christianity is somehow "built in" in families that form Christian community, it's something normal with most of my
family members that they should pray and go to church...

ad5. If we discuss turnoffs with something which in itself is
more or less nonsense, we could say it's the impossibility of free thinking...If one is religious, one always "hits that wall" which separates natural science and religion...He is afraid
of going beyond, if you know what I mean !
