breakin up is thins are completely over man... but askin 4 space is not at all breaking up.. but could turn into a break up if the space wanted is not given...

When she asks for space, she just wants some time away from you. If she wants to take a break in the relationship, that means there's a guy she's ready to date, or she needs time to re-evaluate her feelings for you,or she's tired of the relationship and wants out but doesn't have the nerve to say so.

If she asks for space, then maybe you aren't so touchy feely anymore and give her some room on the text's and phone calls.
A break is when she doesn't want anything from you again. Period.
If she gave you a break, then look at what you are doing to make her react that way, if she gave you the dump, then respect it, no one likes a stalker......please????

when a girl says-:
1)give me a break - it means you are below my standards its better we split.In straight words -"i am leaving you" its useless dragging a relation.End of a relation from a girls end.
2)Give me a space-it means the girl needs some time to think about you whether the relation is going to work or not or rather you are fit for her or not.this is better than break since you stand a chance of not loosing the girl completely cause you can win her heart back by doing something sweet and romantic.

It means It's over but they don't want to hurt your feelings. They feel guilty that they no longer want to be with you. So Its easier to say "Hey, I just need some space, or a break" What they are really saying Is It's over.
I am a female who has said this line. Unfortunately.

In my opinion, a break up & someone needing space is basically the same thing. Well, to me it is.

In my opinion a break is when they want to see other people for a little bit, space is when they want you to stop smothering them

listen to PINKS song leave me alone im lonely .. that defines some space,, when she wants a break, she might just want to sort her feelings out , or she might just want some single time,could be many possibilities, ask her.
