is there a problem with it? i don't think anything's wrong with a woman covering her head. In fact there are still Christian religions where women either wear hat to church or cover her head while praying. It' s a sign of respect
it would be nice if people would stop finding fault with others just because they are of a different religion, race or ethnic group and everyone just see each other as human

This is a worldwide forum. Where is "here", for you? For me, "here" is the United States, where we believe in religious freedom. The Muslims can wear whatever they like. And if you take away one type of religious garb, what's next? Telling nuns they can't wear habits, or the Amish that they can't wear their unique style of dress, or that Hasidic Jews have to also abandon their traditional clothing? People can believe whatever they want, and they can dress however they want, too.

im assuming "here" means america right...in which case our country grants people the freedom to dress as they will as long as your not naked in public or something. these ladies believe they are following their religious edict and freedom to practice religion is a right in america.....however, they shouldnt use the face cover and religion as an excuse not to follow the laws of the land...for instance, reveal your face in court, for a drivers license etc....ladies who declare its against their religion are forgetting the part in the Quran that says to obey the laws of the land you live in if its not going againt Gods law....and God does not order face covers so they have no excuse for not removing them for legal purposes etc.

Is it not their right to wear what they like? A person can walk nude in the streets under the banner of human right s and freedom of expression, surely a Muslim women can wear what she likes under the banner of freedom of expression, religion, human rights etc.
If you don't like it, well thats your personal choice, we live in a pluralistic society or multi culturalism.

If America stands for oppression and lack of freedom then we should FORCE them to take it off.
Obviously they are wearing it like Muslim women have been for the past 1400 years.
They like it and they want to wear it.
I know of several ladies who wouldnt take it off even if their husbands told them to .

It actually is respectable in all religions for a woman to cover her head, even in christianity. As christ is the head of man, so the man is head over the woman, so it is respectable for a woman to cover her head. Especially in prayer and in church.

i think they can dress which ever way they chose. who are you or who am i to say that they cant express their religion? would you like it if you moved to a country that told you you couldnt practice what you believed to be the word of god?
