It is important that there must be an original Bible to know whether the present-day translations/versions of the Bible is correctly translated from the original.

Languages, Hebrew, Aramic, Greek.

The originals have been lost, but not the 1000's of copies.

By examining the copies we find that the copies form families.

Example a small number of copies have the same phrase at the same location. these copies were made from the same earlier version.

So you have 10 old manuscripts, 2 contain things the other 8 don't, it is save to say the two are wrong.

The only exception is if the 2 are considerable older than the other 8.

By examining all the existing manuscripts, you can create a master text that is like the originals.

One of the best master text is 'Wescott and Hort'

An accurate bible taken from W & Hort is the New World Translation.

Please read:

Old Testament:
In fact, the New World Translation is a scholarly work. In 1989, Professor Benjamin Kedar of Israel said:
"In my linguistic research in connection with the Hebrew Bible and translation, I often refer to the English edition as what is known as the New World Translation. In doing so, I find my feeling repeatedly confirmed that this kind of work reflects an honest endeavor to achieve an understanding of the text that is as accurate as possible. Giving evidence of a broad command of the original language, it renders the original words into a second language understandably without deviating unnecessarily from the specific structure of the Hebrew....Every statement of language allows for a certain latitude in interpreting or translating. So the linguistic solution in any given case may be open to debate. But I have never discovered in the New World Translation any biased intent to read something into the text that it does not contain."

New Testament:

While critical of some of its translation choices, BeDuhn called the New World Translation a “remarkably good” translation, “better by far” and “consistently better” than some of the others considered. Overall, concluded BeDuhn, the New World Translation “is one of the most accurate English translations of the New Testament currently available” and “the most accurate of the translations compared.”—Truth in Translation: Accuracy and Bias in English Translations of the New Testament.

“Here at last is a comprehensive comparison of nine major translations of the Bible:

King James Version, New American Standard Bible, New International Version, New Revised Standard Version, New American Bible, Amplified Bible, Today's English Version (Good News Bible), Living Bible, and the New World Translation.

The book provides a general introduction to the history and methods of Bible translation, and gives background on each of these versions. Then it compares them on key passages of the New Testament to determine their accuracy and identify their bias. Passages looked at include:

John 1:1; John 8:58; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:15-20; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 1:8; 2 Peter 1:1

While there are some very old manuscripts still around, some of them were in fragments, & had to be pieced back together. Many are in museums. However, none of the very first original copies now exist, as they were written on materials that biodegraded some time ago. Not to fear, though, because truly devoted copyists have made copies all along, and enough of these copies so still exist, that we can compare the Bible today with what it said many centuries ago. This is how the things that were added much later, were finally recognized & removed.

The Old Testament is made up of Scriptures originally written in either early Hebrew [no longer spoken], or Aramaic. The New Testament is made up of the Christian Greek Scriptures, which were originally written in Koine Greek.

The bible didn’t commence it. Christianity become round earlier the bible. The bible is actual the OT and the NT. The OT are quite a few Jewish books practice. The NT is actual quite a few letters from the apostles of Christ. They despatched letters to the newly formed church homes of God. that were the first Christian church homes. by the years those church homes were divided because one and all said diverse apostles. each and every apostle taught an same difficulty yet none of them taught each and everything. So, this bring about conflict between the church homes. King James ordered the organization of the first bible to positioned an end to the struggling with between church homes and advance his rule. The King James bible is the first bible ever made. although, the man books in it were written by utilising over a dozen people throughout heritage and date back quite a few 1000's of years.

The Arabic world "Al-Qur'an" literally means "the recitation". When used in regards to Islam, the word Qur'an means God's final message to mankind that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. The Qu'ran, sometimes spelled Koran, is the literal the word of God - as it clearly says time and time again. Unlike other sacred scriptures, the Qur'an has been perfectly preserved in both its words and meaning in a living language.

The Qu'ran is a living miracle in the Arabic language; and is known to be inimitable in its style, form and spiritual impact. God's final revelation to mankind, the Qur'an, was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad over a period of 23 years.
" When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy. " Qur'an 7:204
'The revelation of THIS BOOK is from Allah, the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdon.' Qur'an 39:1
'And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And THIS BOOK confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.' Qur'an 46:12
'Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.' Qur'an 2:185
