I'd say that it's preaching, given these definitions.

The only reason that God has become anything near a concern to us is because people keep questioning us when the reply will always be the same. And with your given definition, obviously we aren't preaching. But now I have a question for you, why are accusing atheists in general about this? That's stereotypical.

Preaching against what? I don't preach against gods, I advocate rationality and a critical examination of belief in god concepts.
"to give earnest advice, as on religious or moral subjects"
LOL, with a definition THAT broad, we can include almost ANY discussion of religious topics as "preaching".

First of all, you guys have to understand that we don't preach against God, Him because we don't believe he's real. You can't go against something you don't think is there in the first place. We're less "anti-God" as we are "anti-religion" because the latter is alive and well and IS of concern to us because of how it manages to infiltrate every aspect of our lives (government, laws, etc..)
You can believe anything you want (the green monster on your shoulder) as long as you don't try to get the rest of the world to believe as well. That's what concerns us.

The only time I say anything about god is when someone tries to shove it down my throat or if someone asks me a question on my beliefs or lack there of.

I really don't care about god. I do care about religion. It affects everyone. How many times as the issue of prayer in school come up. What about gay rights and women's rights. These are all issues religion (Christianity) has made their business. If you keep your religion out of public policy, I really don't care what you believe.

They don't preach. They argue some of the points of faith and points of dogma, which is quite fun, but they never preach.

Because his followers are making sure that He is omnipresent. (you know, He's all over the laws and such, this question has been asked 50,000 times already, and I'm too lazy for a better answer this time)

The existence of God doesn't matter.
The irrational beliefs of humans do.
You misunderstand our motivation.

If creationists believe evolution is false, then why do they keep talking about it all the time?
