I have attempted to get in contact with officer recruiters from the Navy and the Air Force but can't get in contact. I have a 4-year college degree from Purdue.

depends on what your degree is in and your GPA. you may or may not be competetive. Both the AF and the Navy are looking for tech degrees in things like Math, or enginneering moreso than anything else. additionally, your outside activities will also be a factor.. they want well rounded individuals.. so a sport and some organziational involvemnet like Student Council or volunteering is a good thing to have.

YES they are always looking for recruiters. Congrats on you degree from Purdue, I want to join their vet program in three years, fingers crossed. ANyway yes, just call them and tell them you interested. No better yet go to the air force base in person. Get some eye contact. I was in the JROTC. The first thig they tell you is if you ever consider the Air Force go in as an officer, you get MUCH better benifits. Good Luck! I'm sure someone with a degree from your school shouldnt have to much trubble getting in. Remember the Air Force ha higher standards for education. Most people in the base that is near me who have ranks like Major also have the degrees to go along with it.
