All the applicants have to do a speech, and then everybody else votes - I'm not sure how to go about writing my speech and any tips would be much appreciated!! Thank you

Make it short and memorable. Introduce yourself, talk about your school and why you like it, maybe share an experience or two. If you have prior experience as a class leader or some other leadership, make sure to mention it. A little humor will help also.

I do not know what a Head Girl is; however, as far as writing your speech: no matter what the topic, write from your heart. Do not be afraid to show your vulnerability. The best speeches I've read or heard have the ring of truth about them. Be sincere and honest and not afraid to show your feelings, and the words will come to you. Good luck.

i think a speech shld contain the following things-
why u luv ur school, why u luv ur teachers, what new things shld be introduced in school, why u want their votes cuz u r responsible to look after everyone's wishes, taking ur school to a good position. and also say smthing which touches the audience and they vote u. hope i helped you. well, i also want to be the Head Girl of our school.
