the pizza place i order from i know many people that work there. I usually tip better. The weather depends. Now that gas prices are raising i give more now than before. I tip waiters more than delivery. A tip though! If you ever have a delivery to a hotel be ready for anything! We recently had a party before her wedding! the pizza guy touched a fake body part on my friend. He received a larger tip. He refused pictures because of all this internet stuff. Which was fine. Just that he got into it and laughed with us was fun.

i deliver pizza too and here is what goes into what i look for in a tip and how i calculate a tip when i get a delivery:

how far the driver has to drive
how far the driver has to walk carrying the pizza (up three flights and down a long hallway?)
how much pizza they are carrying and if they are walking a long way (up three flights with 8 pizzas and 3 sodas (at least a 5 dollar tip, but probably a 10 dollar tip)
how much the order is worth ( i would never give less than 2 dollars even if the order is only 10 bucks, if the order is 50 bucks, i wouldn't give less than 5)
when i order from the store up the road (less than a mile) i tip at least 2 dollars for any order under 20 dollars, 3-5 on order up to 30 dollars
really bad weather (especially lethal snow storms) 25-30% or more

and i urge all who order in bad weather to keep your drivers in mind when ordering, because we are risking our lives to bring you pizza (i've nearly crashed multiple times and been stiffed and it's not pleasant)

I feel bad giving less than 4 if it comes quickly. It depends on the total and how much cash I have though.
If I wait for 45 minutes on a Wednesday after an early order (before 5:30) I give $1.

I Tip the pizza guy 3 bucks, because he works less than 1 mile away from my house.

Hair cut cost $14. I give her $6. Maybe you should cut hair. =P

It varies depending on the price of the pizza. If it was $30.00 you would get $4.50. If it is $20.00 then you would get $3.00. I generally tip 15% on all deliveries, which is what I also tip when I go into a resturant.

I'm all for tipping delivery folks...$2 is standard, but if the weather is bad, then I sometimes give up to $5.

i usually tip 15-20% of what my cost is ..

but there has been times i wont tip at all

and thats because
it took longer to get my food.. when you call they say 20-30mins .. but u end up waiting 40-50mins
the driver is a total *** .. arghh .. lol

however
if i really like you and i have the extra moohlah to spare then i usually tip very good.
i dont want my food spitted on hahah
