Mormons know for sure so I would like to hear a good comparison from them; Is he like Moses in the Torah? I am confused and I admit it.

Nope. Mitt Romney will only talk about foreign policy in Iraq, the deficiet, Social Security, FEMA, the US/Mexico border... He'll give State of the Union adresses, attend civic and State functions, entertain presidents, kings, rulers and prime ministers. He will probably go hunting with his kids, hopefully not injure guides doing so and hopefully not choke on pretzels. Very likely he will not boink interns in the Oval Office. He does not smoke, so cigars will not come into play.

But as for religion, he will probably say little, allowing you to decide for yourself.

The Angel Moroni was a prophet...yes, like Moses. But he was from the Americas.

Hey, I'm a Mormon, and while I don't really see how Moroni will have ANY effect on Romney or his candidacy, I will give an official Church explanation of who Moroni is, as found on mormon.org, an official Church website:

"A Book of Mormon prophet who was the son of Mormon. He received the record of his people from his father, and after writing a final message he buried the gold plates in a hill until they could be brought forth and translated. He appeared as a resurrected being to Joseph Smith and gave him the gold plates for translation, as well as instruction pertaining to the Restoration of the gospel. A statue of Moroni, with a trumpet to his lips, appears on almost all temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has come to symbolize the proclaiming of the gospel of Jesus Christ in latter-days to every creature."

Moroni is NOT some sort of Mormon god, as some people suppose. Mormons accept Jesus Christ as their only personal Savior and as the Savior of all men.

I'm sure if you asked and really wanted to know to learn rather than to mock he would tell you.

I can tell you that Moroni was a prophet who lived 1600 years ago here in the America's. He compiled scripture and shared his faith in Christ.

He is just like Moses or Abraham of the Bible.

Revelation 14:6 reads
"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,"
The Angel Moroni is that angel. He brought to Joseph Smith the lost Golden Plates of one of the tribes of Israel (the tribe of Joseph through Ephraim) He told Joseph that contained in this ancient text was the "everlasting gospel"
In life Moroni was the son of Mormon who gathered the plates and organized them... He compiled the plates and that is why the record of the tribe of Joseph is known as the Book of Mormon. Mormon gave the plates to his son for safe keeping, for he knew if they fell into the hands of their enemies they would be destroyed. Moroni eventually resorted to hiding the plates in the ground. So it was Moroni who came back to show Joseph the resting place of the plates he hid.

So your making fun of the man because he is a Mormon?

I am not a Christian, but I think thats kind of pathetic.

If you like what he stands for vote for him, if you dont then find someone you do agree with.

What factor dose his religion play?
