Put it on him, and tie the leash to your pants. Have him follw you wherever you go. If he resists, stop. Do not force him to walk any further by pulling on the leash. Turn to your dog, crouch down and call him to you. When he comes give him lots of praise! And then carry on. It won't take long before he is used to it. Good luck!

I would suggest putting a collar on the dog with a short leash (a light one though) on it during the day like when she is in the house and just pick it up every once in a while and lead her around!!
Thats what i did with my puppy, cause i put her on a leash th first time and she freaked out and got loose outside.
but i just let her get used to it so she knew it wasnt a scarry thing, but make sure not to pull her with the lease let her lead at first so she dont get scared of it.

Leash him and do not give him more than an arms length of leash. Make him walk beside you and not in front of you. Give him mounains of praise and liver snacks. He will be leash trained before you know it.

Its just time. Never drag them because then it becomes a bad thing. Going on a lead should be a good thing. Plenty of praise and plenty of treats. Its a good idea to just leave the lead drag around on the ground for a little while so they get used to the weight. Then just walk around and if they walk beside you PRAISE PRAISE PRAISE. If they do pull on the lead dont pull back but dont give up, call them and make them come and then plenty of praise. It doesnt take long.

Hook them up to a lightweight leash and let them run around the house with it on for several minutes before holding on to it. After they get accustom to having it on then hold it very loosely while they walk around gradually increasing the amount of control over them.
