I rescued her a few months ago from an abusive home. She and I have bonded really well, but she still very afraid of humans, noises, and changes. I just moved to a new place, and she hasn't been going to the bathroom. She has been eating normally and drinking as well, but her litter box is still clean. It has been 2 days now, and I know she hasn't gone anywhere else. Could stress be the problem to her not using the bathroom? What else can I do to make her go to the bathroom?

1. It is possible that the cat is stressed.
2. Place litter box in a bathroom or any small place that is quiet, keep the door open just a bit so that cat has his privacy. The fact that you do not see urine as well as bowel movement leads me to belive the cat is stressed (but I am not a doctor and this is not a medical advice).
3. If it has been 3 or more days take to a vet-cat might have urinary tract infection/bowel obsruction . Do not wait too long. Vet should be able to help you.

Take her to the vet. She could have a UTI and this can be very dangerous in kitties. Even if that is not the case a vet check would at least put your mind at ease.
