: I saw an episode of Night Gallery as a kid that scared me for months. I don't remember any details, other than a group of people find an old trunk in an attic or basement. In the trunk are mason jars filled with some odd-looking gelatinous substantance that (as I recall) has some kind of evil properties. Unfortunately, no other details. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks to the first respondent, but the episode in question is definitely Night Gallery, not Alfred Hitchcock.

yes!it was an old episode of alfred hitchcock presents,.somebody won the jar at the state fair,and evry one in town would come over and look and stare at it every night for hours.one night after everyone left to go home .the guy who had the jars daughter started nagging him about the jar and telling him there was nothing in it but dolls hair and eyes and she opened it and in a petulant frenzy ripped out and threw everything out of the jar...the next night when the nieghbors came over to gaze at the jar ,the guys daughters head was in it....hoped that helped .that one stuck with me since i was a kid i am now over 50
