I live in Miami and was thinking about a career in crime scene clean up. I only have a high school education and limited funds for schooling. Were are programs that teach this and how expesive would it be? Also is this a career that I could make good money in?

I don't believe you need to be on the police force to be a crime scene cleaner, but that is where the established ones get most of their referrals from, obviously.

To start, I suggest you contact an established crime scene cleaning service, and either apply or ask them what training they provide to new employees. It may be that they train new hires themselves rather than require formal training.

If you can't find established companies on line or in the phone book, you can probably ask at your local precinct for who they use for referrals.

Need to join the police force. Not sure if Florida requires college though.
