Yes, I know I always leave my Pepsi out because I don't like it when it's cold and by the next day the fizz is gone and of course by the second day after opening it, it loses it taste.

I'm pretty sure it loses fizz faster at room temperature, because the molecules are moving faster at the higher temp, and releasing gas bubbles more. Besides, warm pop equals ick.

Yes it does lose carbonation quicker when left out. I try to chill it first use what I need and back to the fridge. Avoid shaking it and do not open more often than needed.

As long as you replace the cap and tighten it will last. It depends upon how much liquid remains in the bottle.
