I want a lightweight dryer that works fast and leaves my hair smooth. Price isn't too much of a factor; just nothing too crazy. Links would be nice too.

What you want to look at is the watts, this is what gives you the power. If you want fast drying, then you want at least 1600 or 1875 watts. I have a good dryer, a Conair Tourmaline Series, with a Turbo speed motor, purple in colour, got it at Costco. I suggest you look at websites of good brand-names like Conair, etc., they categorize the dryers, you can choose which is best and then track it down in a store.

That all depends on the texture of your hair. Everyones hair reacts differently to different hair dryers!

try ION from sally beauty !!! they have them from 30 bucks on up to 100 depending on what you want.they are really good for your hair and will give you a healthy sleek look....

I like the brand 'Wahl' for hairdryers. I also have their straighteners.
