PS: I am a Christian, but I embarrassed when another Christian throws out rather outlandish statements in an attempt to spread Christianity. (The ends do not justify the means.)

You're right Uncle Wayne.
China's Christian population is estimated at between 3% and 5% (approx 45 mill. to 80 mill.).
The population of North China is about 150 000 000, North East China = 105 000 000 and North West China = 92 000 000.
This means that the only way that this person is telling the truth is if every single Christian in China is a resident of just one of these areas. Which seems highly unlikely.
If the population of these three regions (ie. Northern China) is added together, even the abovementioned upper limit of the estimate would not be a majority.
By the way, Steve N seems to be similar to the type of person that you're referring to in your question. He apparently thinks that if he's aggressive enough, people will think he's correct.
Edit: Aah, I just read your previous question, and I see Steve N is the person who told you this fib initially.

Well what do you want me to say Uncle Wayne?
I think you know what I think of Christians and how little faith I put in anything a Christian says.
The likely reason you heard such a statement from a Christian is that they are all congenital liars. Not a shred of honesty in the whole bunch.
Sorry Wayne. But to be any less blunt about it would be less than honest on my part.
Section IV of this about half way down the page gets interesting.

It is an anti-Christian Chinese conspiracy. They want to lure unsuspecting Christian foreigners to northern China so they can steal there I-Pods and sell them to the Russians.

I don't believe that statement is true either. But from what I understand, China has one of the fastest growing christian populations.

You are aware the Wikipedia is not a valid source! People are allowed to 'edit' it whenever they want. Why would you use that source to back up your statement?
