It won't be a gag gift.

In the past year (since she got divorced) or so she's really been sleeping around a lot, and I'm worried about her.

She's gotten pregnant (had an abortion), and she's caught an STD.

Do you think an adult toy will help her control herself a bit more?

she'll only get more active cause she'll have a new toy to bring in new games - you'll only be adding fuel to the fire - but the subliminal message will be your approval and hope for an invite to join in the fun

I think her problem has less to do with pleasurable adult sensations that can be replicated with a toy.

Honestly, it sounds like she's got some issues, and you may want to help her get to the root of whatever she's dealing with.

Its like a fingernail biter, the outward expression is biting fingernails, but the cause can be anything from anxiety to malnutrition to boredom.... There is no one cure-all remedy.

Your friend is in much the same position, I'm afraid. There's no toy on the market that can fix whatever it is that she's going through.

Good luck.

In my opinion, a resounding no. I believe that the recent divorce has perhaps made her a bit unconfident. Unsure of her appeal to men now. Her recent desire to have intimate relations with men are a need to feel desired...wanted again.
