the problem i have is that i cant get it started, it does turn over thoug. i get fuel to the fuel rails (at least to the fuel pressure regulator) but i dont think im gettin fuel to the injectors. i just bought i new fuel pressure regulator and thats not the problem, the rails are open so thats not the problem either, i have the fuel lines matched in and out, basically everything is new from spark plugs to injectors, the only thing i can think of is the vacuum that works with the regulator, any suggestions or diagrams that can help me with this problem
i tried wd40 in the intake and it wants to start but then dies, so i know its fuel, i have a hissing coming from the FPR, i disconnected the fuel lines and ran the pump and fuel came out so i know fuel is going to the fuel rails but not to the injectors, i know the fuel rail isnt clogged bc i just took it off and check its, there arent any leaks, and i just checked and im gettin power to the injectors..im pretty confused

oh yea sorry bout that, lets see 1986 ford mustang with a 1991 351w swap using 302 fuel lines/rail and what not, have a new filter and pump everything fuel related is new, ive kinda pin pointed it to either a vacuum or electrical, and ive been messing with both and it still doesnt fix the problem.

i talked to some of my buddies and we came up with the conclusion that the fpr was stuck (they are known for this if they havent been used in a while or even brand new) so tapping it, or blowing in it would open it up and let fuel to the injectors. thanks for the info if you helped and i did ask some shops around and they had NO CLUE WHAT IT WAS even when they were looking at it and using fuel pressure gauge and their diagnostic machine...so taking it to a mechanic was a really good idea, yea right.
