If so, how can you be so egotistical, while claiming that you love God?

If you love someone, don't you want them to have a life both with you and when you are not together?

Dear "vic" - that is my next question.

No, I don't think God exists only to reward or punish me.
I don't think many people truly understand the relationship that God seeks to have with us.
Do you think your natural father lives to reward or punish you, only?

I have tried to explain what a relationship with God is like to an atheist, but in the end it's like explaining what a sunset looks like to a blind man. You truly just have to see it for yourself.

No, I espouse that God exists with or without me. I am a product of God, not the reverse. I except God because I have free will choice to imagine and believe. Animals have no concept of God. My God is not a punisher but a Lover. His Creation's come with universal laws of physics. When these laws are ignored or violated, the one who violates the laws suffer the consequences for doing so. It is not God who punishes but we ourselves who punish us by error in thought word or deed.

You must not have children. It works very similar to that. You love your children even when they are not doing what you'd like. You've seen recent news where the child is a danger to society. I've seen parents interviewed and even though they love their child, they still turn them in to law enforcement for the protection of others. You can extrapolate that out to how were looked at through Gods eyes. Not quite the same but you get the picture. Good and evil - choose...

Yes. Do you espouse that there is no God, and no matter how much good you do, you will never be rewarded, and no matter how much evil you do, you will not be punished? How can you be so without justice?

And it is because of love that we are supposed to preach the gospel. But of course you dislike this, and want nothing of it. We want to save you but you only want to live for yourself. Oh wells. Let the dead bury their own dead.

I want no part with a God who doesn't exist meaning the biblical God which was written by men who had nothing better to do than make up a story

Friend, you have much to learn about God. For one, where can you go, where he is not? With God there is no such thing as "when you are not together."

Even your first question is rather confused. God does not exist only to reward or punish "you." God exists for everyone. God exists for us. Since it all a big party, there is no egotism.

I do love God and He is always with me. He never leaves me. And He loves me back. And I'm not egotistical. All children of God are supposed to humble themselves. And the only reason God isn't here with us is cuz His glory is too great for our eyes, but when we finally get to Heaven, we'll get to see Him in full effect. It will be the greatest day of my life!

No, I do not espouse to that.
God does not exist to reward, or to punish.
Both of those are by-products of His love.

I don't waste time or energy pondering why God exists. I believe He exists, by faith, and that's good enough for me. I have enough to keep me busy just learning what he expects of me and doing my best to be obedient. There is nothing egotistical about that. I do know that God loves me, wants me to have a life, and receive salvation, because he sent Christ to die for my sins. However, He is God and we play by His rules.

No, God would exist outside of that, he would exist whether I existed or not. He does not exist solely to reward or punish.
