Hi!

I suggest you eat a large dose of cheap yellow mustard once a day for one week and then check your stool for up to two weeks afterward. The mustard will kill or weaken most types of intestinal worms, so you'll pass at least segments of one if any are present. Definitely see a doctor if you're this concerned, because the mustard will not kill all types or all individuals in an infestation.
Your risks of being exposed to tapeworms are increased if you work, play, or swim, in water or waste contaminated with feces. Also, anyone else with you in the activities would likely be infected too.
Another thought is that you might just have a very high metabolic rate, and eating more food will actually keep it high. Ironically, the way to slow a metabolic rate is to get a nutritionist to put you on a series of medically supervised crash diets. Your body will hoard the calories, and you'll put on weight fast. Unfortunately, this is not a do-it-yourself process, and it requires a doctor's supervision to ensure you do not damage your internal organs. The usual side effect is that the metabolic rate will not speed back up again, and you'll have to manage your weight the rest of your life.
Best of luck to you!

is this a surprising weight alleviation, or fairly lots your stable weight? If this is surprising, then there may well be a scientific reason and you need to be certain your healthcare expert. this is not likely that it relatively is a tapeworm, yet he would comprehend what to learn. it must be so undemanding as a intense metabolism (fortunate you!), overactive thyroid (must be checked), or the reality which you're nevertheless growing to be and have a larger urge for nutrition to fill your physique's needs.

Tapeworm infestation does not usually cause any symptoms. Infection is generally recognized when the infected person passes segments of proglottids in the stool, especially if the segment is moving.

Signs and tests
* stool examined for ova (eggs) of Taenia solium or Taenia saginata
* segments of worm, "proglottids," may also be visible in stool

They prefer the intestines. A doctor would ask for a stool sample which would be examined for evidence of tape worms.
