...they can see that they've been there & done that in past lives, and thus know the pro's & con's, what-would-happen-ifs, whys, why nots, hows, etc...?

Some may see enough in this life, and the lives around them, to infer, though.

What do you think?

(This is) from a 'Buddhist' point of view.

there's a debate between many diverse theologies. the respond is the two sure and no, if one is to take excitement in all verses alike. a guy can call upon the call of the lord regardless of the shown fact that he's ineffective, and nonetheless be stored. and stay indoors the spirit others who won't repent are stated in no thank you to be stored. the sons of perditioin are on the perfect of the checklist, yet satanist and pagans might perhaps be stored. in accordance to previous testomony prophets. genuine repentance is to forsake Sin, now no longer merely daily to say sorry despite the fact that the lords prayers components us this daily forgiveness and possibility-unfastened practices from evil if we yet say it daily and are difficulty-unfastened. the bible says that jesus stated ALL SINs Are forgiven yet ONE. it additionally says in acts ch. 10 God accepts adult males of all worldwide places who undertaking him and do works of righteousness. the LDS church has a doctrine that Heaven is split up into 3 stages of glory, some are stored indoors the backside 0.33, on an same time as only the saints and those that triumph over all themes income the utmost degree of glory, yet all are forgiven.

Forgiving is advocated only to hasten the process of evolving, through deeper levels of acceptance. It is an effective & practical technique though equally difficult to accept totally, to be 'used' !
A better method prescribed by Buddhists is to deepen the awareness, deep enough to be able to 'experience' everything around as part of ourselves, and then, forgiveness becomes irrelevant !

It may be tough. But if you don't forgive, and forgive unconditionally, It just pulls down your life. You worry more, Love less. Gives you ulcers. Makes it hard to trust other people even if they have never done you wrong. I prefer to move ahead instead of wallow in the past.

Perhaps. Personally I think we only have one life, and hopefully we are given enough problems to develop compassion and humility, enough guidance to develop confidence and assurance, and enough quiet times to develop inner awareness and peace.

Really, forgiving people unconditionally is the way to personal inner peace... whether or not that person "deserves" forgiveness, it is better to forgive, because only then can peace dwell within our own hearts. With that inner peace, we might just find enough insight to lovingly inspire our brother or sister with enough strength to overcome their own weaknesses. And when we fall down, we will feel that help will be coming soon, because we learn to expect to receive that which we give out to others.

We have to hate the deed and not the person .and as hard as this is we need to do it for our own sake ..There`s nothing more destructtive for both our health and our soul than when we keep biterness and hate locked up in side us , doing that rots and eats away at us from the inside .The only way we can move on and have any chance of being happy again is to let it go

Yes, there's not a saint, sinner, prophet, devil, god, hero, or villain, dead, alive, or both, that I don't identify with anymore. In essence, I would be forgiving myself. Do we have to be forgiving at last? Yes, I guess we do.

-----and I like Tigger's answer, too. She's a great example of the very subject at hand.

They see the pointlessness of holding grudges or being mad. They also understand that it is human nature to make mistakes, and that the offender is answering to himself already. I don't think it is knowledge of past lives that lets them see the consequences of actions, but rather meditating and training their mind in this life. (Though I suppose it could be cumulative knowledge from past lives, but I don't think it is necessary.)
