The vast majority of Americans do not want illegal aliens here and we sure don’t want to give them amnesty (again). Our elected officials should represent us, instead they seem to represent big business like Tyson foods and allow illegals in so that the Mexican government will sell oil to Shell. What happened to the democracy that we fight to bring to others around the world?

This whole thing sickens me how USA allows Mexicans to dictate National policy. Mexicans think they have a right to decide America HAS no freaking southern border.
It's that simple.

Americans want the law breakers out. Mexicans want them to be able to come and go as they have been since day 1.
Reason?
Mexicans work in USA and bring the cash back to Mexico.
Follow the MONEY.

our govt will give the illegals amnesty because the vast majority of Americans are too lazy to do anything about it. we have a "let the other guy take care of the problem for me" attitude. at least email your congressman with your thoughts on the subject. we are being invaded and overpowered by a country without a shot being fired. mexico won't do anything to stop the flow across our borders because of the money being sent back to mexico by these invaders. the illegals are welcomed here by a handful of people. suppose millions of chinese (or any nationality) just started coming here by the plane load to stay. do you think washington would allow that? if we don't do something about the flow across the border we send a message to the entire world to just come on in. the law means nothing when it comes to immigration from mexico. why should 12 million mexicans be allowed to stay and not 12 million of any other nationality? once these 12 million get legal status the middle class will be crushed under the weight of supporting them then there will be the wealthy and the poor. see how well that works out.

I'll tell you why... because they want Amnesty for the wealthy Americans, friends and relatives of the also wealthy senators, congressmen, cabinet members and politicians in general, including the President and ex-presidents of the United States, who have hired illegals for years, getting richer by not paying them what they're supposed to pay. Who's going to complain to the government if the illegals are underpaid???.. just think. Now, most of those people, probably ALL of them, have had illegals working for them, which if there was real justice, it would be a crime. But no way, the government does not want their dear friends to be punished. The easiest way is make those illegals legal.. then, no problem.. the crime doesn't exist anymore. Clever, huh?

When in the recent past has the government ever done what the people want? The money comes from the special interest groups and sometimes, the votes.

The people will not get their power back until all private money, even the candidates own, cannot be used for elective purposes. Even that won't work completely since these groups will be able to advertise on their own for a particular candidate so they will still have their ears but it has to be better.

It's all about money and control. Eliminating a powerful middle class is a necessity for the elite to rule with an iron fist. It's about redistributing wealth, power and destroying borders for capital gain. Our leaders have sold us down the river with empty promises and forked tongues. It matters not which side you defend, both liberal and conservative leaders are in bed together in this travesty.

Because if all illegals are made legal, they then will vote democrat, and there will be no use of the republican party anymore. Once all new "legals" vote democrat, everything will be controled by the democrats from here until eternity.

As we've been witness to the MAJOR pro-illegals rallies, how many of US have even e-mailed their Representatives?
They are fighting, not in their own country, but in another country and getting attention. We'd better START E-MAILING THIS WEEK BEFORE KENNEDY & REED, McCAIN & BUSH do US under again.

Because our politicians are wussies. They think that they have two choices: either give illegals amnesty, or just leave them as illegals and do nothing. They honestly think they can't do anything.

Unlawful Entry is a CRIME. Zero tolerance for immigration-law violators! No amnesty, no "stealth-amnesty." No "change of status," marriage fraud, "exceptional leave to remain," no "Temporary Protected Status." If you break the law, depart or be deported. Illegal aliens kill more US citizens each year than the war in Iraq has killed in four years. Apologists for illegal immigration like to paint it as a victimless crime. But in fact, illegal immigration causes substantial harm to American citizens and legal immigrants, particularly those in the most vulnerable sectors of our population--the poor, minorities, and children. Additionally, job competition by waves of illegal immigrants willing to work at substandard wages and working conditions depresses the wages of American workers, hitting hardest at minority workers and those without high school degrees. Illegal immigration also contributes to the dramatic population growth overwhelming communities across America--crowding school classrooms, consuming already limited affordable housing, and straining precious natural resources like water, energy, and forestland. Taxpayers are being forced to pay for the free health care, education, and other welfare programs being given to illegal aliens; Those tax dollars could be given back to U.S. taxpayers or used to keep our borders secure; They may be here illegally, but they sure know how to "work the system" to collect "free" medical care, "free" education, "free" food, Section 8 housing vouchers and other housing assistance, and hundreds of other social services. It costs citizens additional hundreds of billions of tax dollars at every level: local, state, and federal. It gobbles up billions of our charitable contributions. And much of that money ends up siphoned out of our economy and into offshore accounts. Illegal aliens, over half of whom work "under the table" with neither job nor income reported (nor taxed), are not counted as employed or unemployed. But some of those day-labor and off-the-books "job-lets" would be "real" jobs - available to American citizen job-seekers - if employment regulations were enforced. Illegal aliens can get away with tax evasion, et al., which citizens cannot. In short, we have too many workforce entrants and too few jobs created. The ratio works out to roughly 7-10 workforce entrants per job created. If all illegal aliens depart or are deported, all legal immigration halted, and all temporary employment visas abolished, we still have a problem with more US-born workforce entrants than new jobs created. Illegal immigration damages our country and our citizens every day at every level. And not even the attacks of 2/26 and 9/11 have awakened many Americans to the vast dangers illegal immigration poses to our selves, our families, our communities, our society, our values, our principles, our civilization. Zero Tolerance for Immigration-Law Violators! We must remember the lessons of 2/26, 9/11, and the costs we bear every single day. God Bless the U S A !
