Community crime prevention is reestablishing old values of people watching out for each other! It is impossible to expect the police to be everywhere all the time. Therefore, community support in the way of more eyes and ears assisting the police is the fundamental goal of the program. Anyone in any neighborhood can get involved. The public benefits by police training and intimate contact. The police benefit by citizens watching out for their own neighborhood!
