Zaks has the first one correct:
Athletes are good people because their bodies
are usually busy, which probably keeps them away
from AIDS.
Second one:
My online Swahili dictionary gives 2 possible meanings:
a). Their hippo
or
b). Their whip(made from hippo hide).
