I heard Fr. Corapi mention this story on the radio today, but I missed a bit of it. He spoke about a nun who had the stigmata. People had believed her to be very holy. However, on her deathbed, she made a confession that she had years earlier sold her soul to satan.

Does anyone have any details about this story?

tonks...I am not a troll. Look at my history. This was something I heard on the radio and it had me curious.

imacatholic...I don't think Fr. Corapi meant an official confession. I think he just meant that she let this be known while she was on her deathbed...like there were others in the room.

Oh I love Fr Corapi! But I did not hear this story. I wonder if there is anything on EWTN website about it

That is a crock. If she had the stigmata and was a nun, I doubt that she sold her soul to Satan. I think you are a troll or do not hear well.

I am sorry but I cannot believe your story.

A priest would never reveal the contents of a confession, whether a deathbed confession or not.

Any priest guilty of this serious crime would be automatically excommunicated.

With love in Christ.

Sorry, never heard this story. Did she literally sell her soul to Satan? I'm curious as to the going price these days for a soul.

hehe sorry just being devilish... oops, bad choice of words!

i forget the reference (shoot!)

"niether hight nor depth can seperate you from the love of God that we have in Christ Jesus our Lord"

angels and deamons are in there too ...

*you can not sell your soul to the devil - you can try all you want, but God will never let you go
