What do I do with a bin file so that I can burn it?

You can use nero
or you can use something like Daemontoolz to create an image to the bin file it appears as a cd so you can copy from cd to cd

Open Nero burning rom...close the wizard when it appears. Choose "Recorder" from the menus at the top and select "Burn Image". Point it at the .bin file.
Nero will take care of the rest.
As an alternative, you can always mount the .bin (which is really just a disk image file) with daemon tools and install from there.
