So how would I say-
All around the world
Or spread it around the bread.

all around the world = alrededor del mundo

spread it around the bread = úntalo alrededor del pan

It actually has to meanings
first meaning: aproximately
example: alrededor de mil= around a thousand

second meaning: around -something-
example: alrededor del mundo=around the world

to translate "spread it around the bread", you can say "untalo alrededor del pan" given that the bread is round and you are spreading something around it.
