There are a few variations like if it doesnt come back HUNT IT DOWN AND KILL IT. I guess to an extent if you made a huge impact on them they arnt about to run away with some floosie the second you losen the noose on them.
Just dont assume love is all about the romeo and juliet thing, sure the movie is cool but its not realistic.
