HI! I would love to have your tried and true recipe for homemade crockpot macaroni & cheese, will you share it with me? Thanks so much in advance!!

It's going in a crockpot because it's for something at work and will need to sit at my desk for 5 hours before eating.

Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese:

Make your own homemade macaroni and cheese in your slow cooker.

Prep Time : 15min
Cook Time : 6hr

INGREDIENTS:

* 8 ounces macaroni
* 12-ounce can evaporated skim milk
* 1 1/2 cups skim milk
* 2 beaten eggs
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon pepper
* 4 cups finely shredded low-fat sharp cheddar cheese

PREPARATION:
Pre-cook macaroni for 5 minutes; drain.

Add to slow cooker with evaporated skim milk, skim milk, eggs, salt, pepper and 3 cups of the cheddar cheese.

Mix well; sprinkle another 1 cup of the shredded cheddar over the top.

Cover and cook on low heat for about 5-6 hours, or until it's starting to turn a little brown on top.

macaroni cheese is really easy to make why use a crockpot? just make a cheese sauce really easy see below. biol the pasta only cooking it half way say 5 minutes in boiling water and then add it to the sauce - put in an oven prrof container sprinkle cheese on top and into the oven for 15-20 minutes great


3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black or white pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup grated Cheddar or smoky flavor Cheddar cheese

Melt butter; remove from heat. Stir in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk, stirring until well mixed. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth. Cook for 5 minutes longer; add cheese. Stir until smooth and well blended. Serve with pasta

Cheesy Fiesta Macaroni

16 oz. macaroni; cooked, drained
1 lb. ground beef; browned, drained
1 cup processed cheese (Velveeta); cubed
2 cups chunky salsa
15 oz. can chili beans

Combine all ingredients in crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until heated through.

CROCK POT MACARONI AND CHEESE

8 oz. macaroni, cooked and drained
1 tall can evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. grated cheese
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 stick melted butter

Cook on low for 3 hours and 15 minutes. Do NOT lift lid during cooking. Spray crock pot with Pam for easier cleaning.

That doesn't seem like the kind of dish you'd want to cook for that long. The macaroni would get too mushy. I wouldn't use a crockpot for that dish. And you want the cheese to get that nice golden brown on top... that won't happen in a crock pot.
