When will Spanish become the only official language of California again?

It never was the official language of California! When the Spanish colonized the Native Americans, they made them learn Spanish, but it was never the official language. Other European groups were here speaking their native languages too, not to mention the Indians had their own languages. Even though Spanish Speaking people may be (or are quickly becoming) the majority of California's population, Spanish will NEVER be the official language because California is STILL part of the U.S.A! Get over it, It will NEVER belong to Mexico again, it's worth too much money for the U.S. to EVER let it become Mexico.
Even if they grant citizenship to all the illegal immigrants, and they vote for change, the electoral college will just pull another fast one. Dream on!

Spanish was never the official language of the state of California! Just because some Spanish settlers lived there before we became a country, and then some native Americans with their other languages before that, does not mean any other language but English should be the official language since California is now part of the United States of America, of which English is the official language.

Sorry Spanish will probably not be the official language again. Cali is part of the U.S. and probably will always be. Im sure there are alot of Spanish speaking people there.

Let me get this straight, most illegals come to the country for opportunity, so why would you want to return to the bad old days of no opportunity and cut yourself off from the very thing, the English speaking citizens that put in place all the things that allowed you opportunity. When will they learn English and the Native Americans actually were here first so how about just English its easier and more clear to understand why not have the U.S be just English no more press 2 for Spanish or others just freaking English.

In a hundred years, the ancestore of the illegal immigrants will not be able to speak spanish. They will grow up in our culture and will become americanized.
