No, it is important to eat, even when you are trying to lose weight. Eating keeps your metabolism up, and when you don't eat, your body goes into survival mode and saves fat rather than sheds fat. You shoud eat 3 to 5 HEALTHY meals a day in small portions, just enough to make you not hungry. This way, you aren't losing vitamins or any other essentials your body needs, and because you are eating your metabolism will stay high and help you burn fat. Also, make sure to exercise, even if it is just walking for 15 minutes or so a day.

No! Not eating causes your body to store fats for later since it knows that it doesn't get much and will need to feed off of these stores. What you should do, is eat a well balanced diet. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Watch your calorie intake, that's the most important part of it. Also, exercise. And, this whole 'don't eat before bed' is a common, but untrue statment. Your body actually burns more calories when sleeping than when sitting on the couch watching tv. It doesn't burn calories based on bed time, or not bed time.

Your body will go into starvation mode. Then it will not burn fat but reserve it for real emergencies. You will burn muscle. You heart is a muscle. Do this long enough and you will die.

Starvation diets do not work. ( You could aslo lose some of you hair doing this also)

just because you don't eat doesnt mean you should lose weight. it depends on what you're eating and when. breakfast should be within an hour after you wake up, and have a meal every three hours. also, don't eat 3 hrs before you go to bed................
