Most dental insurances do not cover ortho unless you are a child under your parents insurance but usually not for cosmetic purposes in adults.

It isn't. Most ortho offices offer financing/payment plans. Besides, you would pay more for the dental insurance than it would probably pay for the braces.

Whether you are a child or an adult, you want to look good and feel good about yourself.

If braces will help you in this, you should get braces. Read my article on braces on ezinearticles:

HELLO,

IF YOU PAY BY CREDIT CARD OR CASH ANY ORTHODONTIST WOULD WELCOME YOU WITH GLADLY!
BUT ON A SERIOUS NOTE, MANY ORTHODONTISTS TAKE MONTHLY PAYMENTS AND CAN BEGIN YOUR TREATMENT RIGHT AWAY. AS FAR AS THE COST, THIS VARIES FROM WHOM YOU SEE AND WHERE YOU LIVE.
CALL AROUND AND ASK.
