With guys, action speaks louder than words. Men tend to say romantic things while in the heat of passion. They're happy that you're giving them what they want-sex. When the afterglow wears off is when you need to be more observant. If your boyfriend is serious about marriage, he will propose properly, give you a ring, inform the respective families and start making plans. The general rule of thumb is, a) people will say anything while in bed, and b) actions do speak louder than words. Good luck! Oh! Make sure you use protection. Getting pregnant is no gaurantee that a man will marry you!

I don't see anything ambiguous in what he said. Still if I were you I would make sure that the protection was secure when having sex. Use contraception! Men say one thing when they want sex but do something altogether different when circumstances come up like an unplanned pregnancy. Be careful. After all, you are the one who has to carry the baby and take care of it should he choose to be somewhere else, like Japan. Remember that fact.

You two are probably insecure on what marriage will hold in store for both of you in the future..it might change the way u think about each other..hw having a child will change your relationship..if you even end up with each other..marriage means spending the rest of your lives "together"..you'll have enough time think about it then..trust me.

Nothing. Go your separate ways and live your lives. "Pillow talk" means nothing once your heads aren't on the pillows any more. What you both are saying to each other is, "I don't want to but I want "you" to say it because I don't have the courage to." Tell him you want to be friends while he is in Japan and you are in India but there shouldn't be any strings attached to either of you. DO NOT GET PREGNANT!

The answer is in your question. By that I mean, if you have to "read his mind", or second-guess his intentions then quite possibly, the two of you are not in any situation to be speaking of marriage. Have this conversation outside the bedroom and see how it goes.

I'm lost. Where is the enigma? It all sounds straightforward to me. Stop trying to read into things. You're going to be getting married after you two get back from these trips. That's what it sounds like to me. What's the confusion?

It means he loves you and he wants to marry you but he is afraid that you don't want that yet. let him know you are ready for marriage and that when yall both get back from your trips then he wants to finally get things with getting married started.

Probably that he wants to marry you..and start a family. And he doesn't just love you but he's IN love with you. And that'd he thinks your relationship is worth it to put it on hold until he gets back.

sounds like he's trying to figure out your guys' relationship before he leaves for Japan. Test the waters and see what to do about it.
